永远的尹雪艳 is a play which Hu Ge is the male lead and the cool thing is it will be perform in Shanghai dialect. So he have two play in hand for now.

Unknown said...: hye.. im eina from Malaysia...i also obsess with historical/ ancient Chinese movie or drama, but i never see him before..i wonder why,and i start search about Hu Ge.. i start to adore him because of Jian Tian (Chinese Paladin 3).. However, i read about what happened to Hu Ge in 2006. its really heartbreak..how he try to recover back from what happen, he really give me inspire to continue and fight for my life.. because something quite similar happened to me..for 19 years old girls. eventhough its not an tragic event, it still leave a lot of scars to my face and my heart..lower down my confident level i become timid and closed myself from outside world... But thanks to Hu Ge and his song ( Dare To Love ... i cry a whole night listen to this song..and of course after find some english lyrics).. i see how he struggle and become better, really help me recover slowly. A part of courage that i have today is because of him.. i really wish one day i could thanks him by myself but i know its impossible for me.. as i'm just an average fan girl from Malaysia (eventhough now i already 24 years old >_<). I hope Hu Ge will always success and happy!! Hu Ge

Chinese actor Hu Ge (Hugh) was born on September 20, 1982 in Shanghai. He studied acting at the Shanghai Theater Academy and graduated in July 2005. While in the Academy, Hu met and befriended classmates Justin Yuan and Cecilia Han, whom he would later collobrates on numerous television projects. Hugh is under contracted with CES.

After his first break-out role in Chinese Paladin, Hugh embarked on a number of television series projects, most of which had a wuxia theme. Hugh has acted in a number of films as well, including The Ghost Inside and The 601st Phone Call. In late 2008, he co-starred with Wu Chun and Charlene Choi in The Butterfly Lovers, a film based on the Chinese legend of the Butterfly Lovers. In the same year, he played the role of Guo Jing in The Legend of the Condor Heroes, an adaptation of Louis Cha's novel of the same title.Hu performed many songs for the soundtracks of the television dramas he starred in. On October 31, 2006 Hugh released his own EP, titled Treasure (珍惜) or Tell Her I Love Her (告訴他我愛她), which featured three songs. On May 15, 2008 Hugh released his first full-length music album, titled Start (出發), which featured ten tracks.
